Over 1800 Persons Benefit as TY Buratai Foundation Organises Free Medical Outreach

The TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation, in collaboration with the Tukur & Tukur Foundation, has successfully conducted a free medical outreach benefiting over 1,800 members of the public in Kano State. The free medical outreach was at the invitation by the Kano State Hisba Board.

In a statement by the chairman of the Foundations, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, along with Col. Haruna Idris Zaria (Rtd) said the medical outreach was aimed at providing essential healthcare services to those who serve the community selflessly.

The outreach was marked by a ceremonial presentation attended by members of the Kano Hisbah Board.

Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, the Commander-General of the Hisbah Board, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the foundations for their commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of Hisbah Board members, their families, and the generalpublic.

Highlighting the urgency of the medical intervention, Sheikh Daurawa pointed out that many Hisbah officers are elderly, with some in their 90s, and suffer from various health challenges.

“This medical outreach is critical. Some of our officers are battling severe visual impairments, hearing loss, and other chronic conditions. Addressing these health challenges will enhance their productivity and overall well-being,” he explained.

The Commander-General conveyed the Hisbah Commission’s appreciation to Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for supporting the initiative and underscored the foundations’ role in prioritizing the health of Hisbah personnel.

“We sincerely thank you for dedicating your time and resources to provide this critical health support. We pray for divine blessings upon the founders and benefactors of these noble foundations,” he said.

Sheikh Daurawa specifically acknowledged the leadership vision of the Grand Patron of the Tukur & Tukur Foundation, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (Rtd), for his foresight in establishing health-focused initiatives that significantly impact underserved communities.

Sheikh Daurawa prayed for divine rewards for all stakeholders and healthcare professionals involved in the outreach. “Supporting individuals in areas of health, education, food security, and vocational empowerment is a cornerstone of human development. By uplifting humanity, we uplift the entire society,” he added.
