
Barr. Hope Aliu Emerges as National Head of NBM of Africa Worldwide

In a historic election held on July 25, 2025, at Novatel Hotel, Lekki, Barr. Hope Aliu was elected as the National Head of the NBM of Africa, marking a new chapter of unity, discipline, and constitutional leadership for the Movement.
A seasoned legal practitioner and dedicated member of NBM, Barr. Aliu is known for his unwavering commitment to justice, reform, and reconciliation. His leadership journey began years ago from Auchi, where he rose through the ranks with integrity, earning respect across regions.
Speaking after his victory, Barr. Aliu reaffirmed his dedication to restoring order and fostering unity within the Movement. “NBM of Africa must return to its founding ideals of discipline, brotherhood, and purpose,” he said. “We are one indivisible family.”
He immediately announced plans to conduct elections across Zones and Regions within 14 days and called for all factions to disband and unite under one constitutional structure. His message is clear: the time for division is over.
The election was widely recognized as peaceful, credible, and BOT-supervised. Barr. Aliu also extended a hand of reconciliation to former rivals and expressed readiness to serve with humility and firmness.
