A People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Alimosho Local Government in Lagos state, Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla has bemoaned the crises rocking the party and urged Atiku Abubakar to as a matter of urgency call all aggrieved members of the party to a roundtable discussion to resolve the issues on ground before it is too late.
.
The PDP Chieftain, while speaking with our reporter said that the issue of the party national chairman and the presidential candidate coming from the same region should not be the problem of the party but how to join hands together to win next year’s general election.

The PDP Chieftain noted that this is the same mistake the party made in 2015 and 2019 that made the party lose both elections to the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Prince Ewenla recalled that he won the first primary election of Alimosho Federal Constituency to represent the council, but the election was declared inconclusive. He added that he has to petition Abuja before a rerun was ordered and the re-run election was also manipulated by some selfish leaders.

“When primaries were conducted in the country, I won in Alimosho Federal Constituency to represent the council and the election was declared inconclusive. I petitioned Abuja before the election was rerun but was manipulated. Despite this, I am still working with the person declared a winner so that we can be able to achieve our goals,” Prince Ewenla said.
