It’s no longer news, but we felt compelled to bring things into the public domain beyond what those mischievous content creators portray to their gullible followersRecall that during the Grace Nation Sunday service on 20 December 2025, Dr. Chris Okafor, the Senior Pastor of the church and Generational Prophet, made an emotional address in response to several allegations brought against him by certain disgruntled persons.
The Man of God, who exhibited remorse, explained to the congregation and Nigerians at large that, like anyone else, he is capable of making mistakes despite being a man of God.
The God servant openly acknowledged past errors regarding marriage in his life. Although evidence appears convincing, the story and allegations are unfounded. He stated that with the new phase of marriage, God will guide him, promising that past mistakes will not recur.
In response to allegations of infidelity, the Man of God asserted that if he had ever attempted to make advances or engage in inappropriate behavior with any of his children or family members, he openly invoked God to take him away. Additionally, his daughter ‘Chi’ was invited to the altar to confirm whether her father had ever made advances towards her, and she categorically denied it, thereby bringing the allegations to a close. Also addressing allegations that he has been maintaining clandestine relationships with family members, the Man of God successfully addressed this, stating that none of such allegations ever occurred.
In a demonstration of humility, the Man of God knelt at the altar, acknowledging his humility and fear of God, as he apologized to God and the global congregation of Grace Nation, requesting forgiveness and prayers while acknowledging his own imperfection.
During this occasion, the Generational Prophet extended his unreserved apology to all those offended by his actions and humbly requested forgiveness from everyone with whom he had interacted over the past 13 years as a single father.
Discussing his mentors and spiritual fathers, the Generational Prophet stated that since Bishop Abioye and Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo became involved in his ministry and life, God has been exceptionally faithful to him, as these two fathers have successfully reshaped his life, guiding him toward a righteous path and providing spiritual, physical, and financial support.
Through his emotional submissions, Dr. Chris Okafor, the Man of God, has demonstrated a clear understanding of his mistake, retraced its source, and extended a sincere appeal to all parties involved to forgive him and pray for him, recognizing that he is not perfect.
To this end, what is anticipated now by those who desire the best outcome for the Man of God following this public apology is that they continue praying for him in his new home, seeking God’s protection and provision for his new home, as he too deserves a fulfilling and joyful marital life.
