Drogba Cheers Osimhen, Oshoala On CAF 2023 Win

Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba, has congratulated Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala on their victory in the Confederation of African Football awards 2023.

Sharing photos of Osimhen and Oshoala on his Instagram account on Tuesday to celebrate their wins, Drogba wrote,  “Long live the new King and Queen of Africa #victorosimhen9 #asisat_oshoala #caf_online

“Congratulations my Nigerian people, we are waiting for you in January #afcon_2023.”

The Super Eagles striker beat stiff opposition from Morocco and PSG defender Achraf Hakimi and Egypt and Liverpool forward Mo Salah to clinch Nigeria’s first POTY title in 24 years.

Meanwhile, Oshoala clinched her sixth Women’s Player of The Year award at the CAF Awards 2023.
