Elections: Bayo Faleke Drops New Hit Single, The Revelation

‘The Revelation’ is the latest effort of ace broadcaster, Dr.Adebayo Faleke (Bayo Oo).

The Award winning Broadcaster who is also the Author of award winning Book ‘The Dilemmas Of A Country’ has been a great crusader of a better NIGERIA for over two decades, through his Radio & TV presentations and his recorded songs like National cake 1&2, Banana Republic, Epistle to Baba maigaskiya among others.

According to him, his latest masterpiece is a message to the Nigerian people as they prepare to elect leaders into different political offices.

Lamenting the sorry state of the nation that neccecitated his current effort, Faleke said Nigeria has become a stage where we watch political drama.

“The supreme court gave order stopping the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from implementing the February 10, 2023 deadline for swapping of old Naira notes for the newly redesigned Naira notes. The central bank disregarded the order and said, no going back.

Few hours later, the president said we should continue to spend the old N200 but N500 and N1000 is no longer legal tender. Malam Nasir Elrufai, the governor of Kaduna state said he’s so sure that the president was wrongly advised. He said the people in his state are free to spend the old naira notes. This is laughable. Nigerians are confused and not sure if they should continue to spend the old note or not.

“The security of Nigerians in Nigeria is uncertain. Nobody dare sleep with both eyes closed

“Artificial scarcity of petroleum products and unnecessary hike in their prices have become the order of the day. I wonder if our leaders are aware of all these.

“Inflation is at the peak and our Naira has become an object of mockery among the currencies of other countries

“I wonder if the generation yet unborn can ever repay our enomous national debt.”

Faleke enumerated the above as what he described as the state of our nation, adding that ” the big question however, is : how do we get to this point?
The simple answer, he proffered, is “Bad Leadership”

Without mincing words, he registered, “If we must build a Nigeria of our dream, good leadership must be the foundation”

According to Faleke, “I usually to make releases whenever election is around the corner and I have been doing it for the past 16 years. Few among my releases are national cake 1,2,3, ikilo (warning) the dilemma of a country, banana republic, baba Mai gaskia and lot more.

“I have come with another powerful release Which I titled “The Revelation”. We need to be careful as a country so that 2023 election will not fall things apart. I have come again to ring the bell of warning to the ears of those who care to listen. This election must not be a rat race for the people who want power at all cost. We must put all hands on deck to make Nigeria a unified entity. What I saw was scary and need urgent attention.

“What did I see in my revelation? Is it really a revelation or a figurative revelation? Is it true that the future of this country is in our hands. What does it mean to say we should not be afraid of our government rather, our government should be afraid of us?
