When asked in an interview with Onspotnewsng representative on his greatest challenge in his line of work? He said “Nigerians don’t take their health and work-life-balance seriously. He further explained that Nigerians don’t eat healthily either by not being conscious of what they consume and mostly reluctant to come to gym to work out which helps in avoiding many health issues, promotes self confidence and smarter appearance”. He said the busy schedule of most working class has greatly reduced the number of people coming to the Gym. Mr Wellington Ojobo remain positive and optimistic that Fitness consciousness will improve in the nearest future in Nigeria and that irrespective of the time schedule of work, his Gym can always work out a plan that will be comfortable and still get optimal fitness results.

When asked about how he manages to change the narrative about GYM owners/ instructors, he said Empire GYM is unique and one of the foremost core value is Integrity. We have never being in the mix of any controversy because we are focus on our motto with well trained personnel while maintaining close monitoring.

We hope to have branches in numerous areas of Lagos or even states despite different travel consultations we have had over time. We have been to Abuja, Port Harcourt and some states in Nigeria to run different 3 days fitness drills for company’s employees during their yearly sport events as a way to socialize among staff members.
