Enugu Agog As Judith Chime Invitational Football Championship Begins Sunday

All is set for the Friday epochal kick off of the 1st edition of Judith Chime Invitational Football Competition, taking place in Enugu State.

The tournament sponsored by former Super Falcons goalkeeper, Judith Chime, is organised by Judith Chime Foundation, and will run from 13th-21st  December, 2024, is expected to feature 19 female teams aged 15-22 years and drawn from different parts of Nigeria.

The eagerly anticipated championship is expected to be graced by creme de la creme of the society, with the 1st lady of Enugu State, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, as the Chief Host, as well as, a special guest, HRM Ambassador (Dr) Fashola Omolara, another distinguished guest is Chief(Mrs). Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Ogbonna Nwifuru, the 1st Lady of Ebonyi State.

According to the sponsor and convener Judith Chime, the tournament is one of the several life-changing initiatives of the Judith Chime Foundation that is ostensibly aimed at providing a veritable platform and lifeline to the indigent, but gifted girl child.
