Exclusive: EFCC Arrests Mosan Okunola, Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA Chairmen

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested two Local Council Development Area Chairmen in Lagos State, Newscarte reports.

Princess Olabisi Adebajo, the Executive Chairman, Mosan/Okunola LCDA and her Agbado Oke-Odo counterpart, Engr David Famiyiwa have been arrested and currently in the custody of the anti-graft agency.

Newscarte gathered the two council heads were arrested on Tuesday, 16 November, 2020 at their respective council offices over allegations of fraud and money laundering.

The two councils are under Alimosho Local Government and by the All Progressive Congress, APC.

    The purported report of the arrest of chairman of mosan okunola lcda is unfounded and a Gross excitement of gutter journalism. It is in the most a defamation of character by some agents provocateurs who serves the interests of disgruntled elements within and outside the political arena. Real journalists don’t speculate. They hear from the other side in other to balance reports before going to press. I think reporters like this needs to be sanctioned
