Members of Grace Nation worldwide have expressed concern over what they describe as repeated online remarks made by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala regarding the Generational Prophet and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr Christian Okafor.
In a statement released by individuals identifying themselves as sons and daughters of the cleric, the group said they have chosen to remain calm and respect legal processes despite what they consider persistent attempts to drag their spiritual leader into public controversy.
According to the statement, members believe the ongoing public commentary is unnecessary and unfair to Dr.Okafor, who recently entered a new phase of his personal life after many years of being single.
“We believe everyone deserves the right to live their life in peace,” the group said, adding that the The Man of God should be allowed to enjoy his marital life without unnecessary public attacks or allegations.
The group also noted that any issues surrounding the matter should be addressed through appropriate legal channels rather than social media debates.
“We urge the public to exercise caution and avoid spreading unverified claims or narratives that could damage reputations,” the statement continued.
Grace Nation members further appealed to Nigerians to disregard what they described as misleading stories circulating online and instead allow the judicial process to determine the truth.
“We remain committed to peace, respect for the law, and the protection of the integrity of our spiritual father,” the statement concluded.
They ask?
“To all your claims Doris Ogala how many people can come out and say he or her knows you in Grace Nation, No Body, the only time few people claims they saw you was when you organized a Kangaroo Fund Soliciting for member of Nollywood with challenges and at the end of the Day, the money that was released as support for those one with challenges we know what happened ? So what is your problem Doris Ogala Aka Miss Evidence.”
