Idowu Keshinro: Absence Of Suspects Stalls Hearing, Case Adjourned Till Thursday

The ongoing case of the murder of Idowu Keshinro, a staff of Ikosi-Ejirin local government was stalled on Tuesday at the court due to the absence of suspects arrested in connection to the heinous act.

The suspects that include Mukaila Salau a.k.a. Actor, Tiyamiyu Ahmed, Wasiu Suleimon, Bemi and Ibrahim Ekemode were absent at the Magistrate court, Ogba.

This publication had earlier reported that the hearing was adjourned to Tuesday, 26 November 2024.

When the Warder was asked about their absence by the presiding Judge, he explained that there was a mixup in the date and that is why he was unable to present them at the court.

However, the Judge adjourned the case till Thursday and ordered that the suspects must be physically presented.

It would be recalled that Idowu Keshinro was allegedly murdered brutally in April 2024 by the suspects, some of which are still at large. In a video recording before he died, Idowu mentioned some of the people he identified when he was attacked and perforated with bullets.

Following the arrests made, the family of the deceased have made several calls to the government to ensure justice prevails as there have been rumours that the suspects arrested have involved higher authorities in an attempt to evade justice.
