The Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr Chris Okafor, has warned that the calamity that befell King Herod in Acts of Apostle 12:1-8 will befall anyone attacking the church of God.
Teaching on Sunday 23 November 2025 at the international headquarters of Grace Nation world-wide in Ojodu Berger Lagos Nigeria, Dr Okafor said what is happening today in Nigeria has happened before in the scriptures. He said Herod fought the Church which is what is being experienced today in Nigeria.
The Man of God however remarked that the end of Herod was not pleasant, and warned that every bandit, kidnapper, ritualist with the spirit of Herod will meet their calamity because their end will be filled with calamities.
The Generational Prophet who preached on the subject “Divine Preservation by Service” remarked that the only way one can get divine protection from people with Herod spirit is by serving God in truth and in spirit.
The Clergyman also noted that when you serve God, He protects and guides you from the spirit of Herod.
”There is a secret to divine protection over insecurity and the simple method is divine service in the vineyard. God cannot serve himself, while human beings cannot protect themselves, therefore when you serve God, He protects you,” Okafor affirmed.
