NASPRI kicks off fourth quarter courses with emphasis on collaboration, teamwork

The Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI) has on 18 October 2024 inaugurated its Fourth Quarter Courses 2024 which comprises of Advance Public Relations Course, X1 News Writing and Reporting and A2 Photography, with Acting Commandant Lt Col Adamu Ngulde stressing the importance of collaboration and teamwork in the field of Public Relations.
At the inauguration ceremony held at the NASPRI auditorium in Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment, Giri Abuja, Lt Col Ngulde noted that the Nigerian Armed Forces is a team-oriented environment where success depends on working together towards a common goal.
He encouraged students to approach the course with an open mind and willingness to learn, emphasizing that education is a lifelong journey.
The Acting Commandant also highlighted the evolving landscape of public relations, influenced by technological advancements and changing societal expectations, urging students to be adaptable and innovative in their approach.
He expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja, for his commitment to the Directorate of Army Public Relations and NASPRI.
He also thanked the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, for sending personnel to participate in the courses, as well as the Commander TRADOC NA, Maj Gen KO Aligbe, and Chief of Training Maj Gen SG Muhammed for their support and guidance.
Earlier, Acting Chief Instructor Capt. Kennedy Anyanwu outlined course expectations, urging students to tap into the knowledge of experienced instructors drawn from the Military and Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, University of Abuja to achieve maximum output.
He emphasized the importance of participating in all school routine activities and maintaining a high level of discipline.
The inauguration ceremony concluded with a group photograph at the NASPRI office complex.
