NDLEA Intercepts Illicit Drugs Concealed In Boxing Kits

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have uncovered a consignment of illicit drugs (Colos) concealed in boxing kits on New Year’s Day at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.



This was made known in a statement shared on the agency’s official X page by the Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday.




Sharing photos and a video of the seized drugs, he wrote in broken English, “Colos fit make you Kolo. Avoid it. This video shows how @ndlea_nigeria officers uncovered a consignment of Colos concealed in boxing kits on New Year’s Day at MMIA. A gram seized is a gram less than what’s available on our streets and communities. Result of a combo of Intel +Vigilance.”
