Vajero Launches Lagos Boat Tour With Successful Maiden Voyage

Lagos’ aquatic splendour came alive recently as Vajero Tours Limited flagged off its maiden Lagos Boat Tour*, a two-hour voyage that treated participants to an unforgettable exploration of the city’s waterways.

The Tour, which cost ₦25,000 per participant, set sail from the 5 Cowries Jetty, Falomo, with a diverse mix of professionals and leisure seekers on board. Guests were taken through a fascinating water journey beginning at the Lagos Harbour, cruising under the Independence Bridge, and gliding all the way to Tarkwa Bay. The boat then turned back towards the harbour, veering left into the Lagos Marina via Ebute Ero, before sailing into the expansive Lagos Lagoon and returning to the 5 Cowries Jetty through the iconic Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge.

Along the way, seasoned Tour guides provided engaging narratives about Lagos’ history, heritage sites, and landmarks. Guests were also entertained with music, comedy, and a variety of refreshments, ensuring there was never a dull moment on board.

At the end of the trip, participants praised Vajero Tours for what many described as a “well-organized and refreshing experience,” commending the initiative for creating a new leisure and cultural offering for Lagos residents and visitors alike.

According to the organisers, the Lagos Boat Tour will now hold as a weekly voyage, offering participants the opportunity to rediscover the city from a unique vantage point — its waterways.

With this successful debut, Vajero Tours has positioned itself as a bold new player in Nigeria’s Tourism space, showcasing the rich blend of history, heritage, and hospitality that defines Lagos.
