Akute Plank Sellers Celebrate

It was indeed a day of thanksgiving and merriment as members of Imoleayo Aranse-Oluwa plank and building material market, Akute, Ogun State, celebrated their end-of-the-year party on Thursday, 23 December, 2021. 

The celebration started with thanksgiving prayer sessions, respectively done in both Muslim and Christian doctrines. 

The focal point of the thanksgiving centres on the series of successes recorded by members of the Imoleayo Aranse-Oluwa plank market under the year in review, and in anticipation of what to come in 2022. 

Mr Lawal Samson, Chairman of the market, told Newscarte that God’s faithfulness and protection necessitated the end-of-the-year party. 

There was enough to eat and drink, as relatives and other well wishers thronged the plank market to celebrate with the members.
