How Geye Solidarity Group Honoured Late Ajoke Adegeye

Geye Solidarity Group, an umbrella body for all the organizations founded by late Hon. Risiqat Ajoke Adegeye, has celebrated the life and times of the astute politician and philanthropist. 

The celebration program was led by Engr Seyi Ipinlaye, a political godson to the deceased.

The event started with a prayer offertory in honour of the deceased on Sunday, 26 September, 2021.

In attendance were prominent Christian and Muslim clerics, political stakeholders, traditional leaders, community leaders, youths and market leaders among others. It was a spiritual carnival for the peaceful repose of ‘Mama Alanu Amuwo.’

The event further portrayed how well Hon Risiqat Ajoke Adegeye went all about doing good by touching people’s lives positively. 

“Our heartfelt prayer is that she continues to live peacefully in the abode of Almighty God,” Engr Ipinlaye said while assuring the gathering that the group would continue in the path of their deceased leader.
