Bovi Kicks Against Beating Children For Discipline
Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi, has spoken against corporal punishment, advising parents to check their emotions before disciplining their children.
He made this known while appearing on the Honest Bunch podcast.
Bovi revealed that his son has a phase where he broke things out of anger.
According to him, the boy broke at least three television sets while growing up.
The comedian said he does not support beating children, so he allowed his son to go through that phase while monitoring his behaviour and remorse.
He therefore added that his financial strength made it easier to handle the situation, as he could replace the damaged sets.
“Thank God for capacity. If I couldn’t afford another TV, then the approach would have been totally different,” he noted.
