“Rumble In Lagos” Holds Sunday

The Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos State will come alive as a professional boxing event holds on Sunday. 

The professional boxing event tagged “Rumble In Lagos” is being put together by Saleh Glooves Promotion and sanctioned by the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control, NBBof C. 

There would be a total of 14 bouts in different boxing weight categories as disclosed by the organizers, through Onyeka Elum. 

According to Elum, a Ghanaian professional boxer, Samuel Takyi will confront Nigeria’s Samuel Moses in an eight-round Lightweight contest. The fight, according to Elum is the bout of the day. 

In another Lightweight contest, Obinna Mathew will strive to show his boxing skills when he confrints Tyson Jamiu. An exciting and competitive bout would see Kelvin Tarike and Chukwuma Igwe square up in the Cruiserweight category. 

Meanwhile, the organizers have announced Saturday as the weigh in, while assuring professional boxing fans of adequate security of lives and properties.
