Man Kills One-year-old Baby in Anger

One Isiaka Ayobami, a resident of 2, Ayo Ijaiye Street, Isheri has allegedly killed a one-year-old baby, Nana Aishat Isiaka by deliberately hitting her head on the floor.

The suspect was said to have forcefully seized the baby from her mother and hit her on the ground. The Baby’s head was shattered and she died on the spot.

It was onee Alhaji Garuba Isiaka of 7, Ayo Ijaiye Street who reported at the Police Station that while at Berger bus stop, he received a phone call from his younger brother Alhaji Mohammad Isiaka that the suspect had committed the heinous crime.  

The suspect was almost lynched by angry mob from the area, if not for the timely intervention of the Police. He will be charged to Court for murder.
