Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang “unhappy” at Arsenal and tired of finishing eighth

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is “clearly unhappy” at Arsenal and wants to win things before his career comes to an end.

That’s according to Chris Sutton, who believes the Gabon international wants out at Arsenal after his recent comments regarding his contract situation.

Aubameyang is a free agent in 2021 and suggested in a frank interview with Telefoot that he won’t sign fresh terms unless he’s convinced Arsenal will be competitive next season.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta remains confident Aubameyang will see out his career at the Emirates, recently telling the press he is “pretty positive” the striker will put pen to paper on a new contract.
