Traffic Robber Meets Waterloo

Police Patrol team has arrested one Amodu Azeez based on a complaint made by one Arinze Madeben that the suspect and two others at large blocked the complainant on a  motorcycle, and robbed him at gunpoint.

He was robbed of his Nokia android phone and wallet containing the sum of twenty-seven thousand, two hundred and seventy naira. The suspect raised an alarm which attracted anti-robbery men on early morning patrol.

The armed robbery suspects were pursued and the ring leader, Azeez Amodu was arrested, while others escaped.

The stolen items were recovered from the suspect. The motorcycle the suspects used for the robbery operation with registration number JBD 133 VY was recovered.

Police also recovered a toy gun used by the suspects for the robbery.

Detectives are on the trail of the suspects at large.
