Western Marine Command intercepts, destroys over N23.7million poultry products

Few hours ago, the Western Marine Command of Nigeria Customs Service Destroyed seized poultry products worth over N23.7million in duty paid value.
This is coming only few days after the same Command burnt smuggled poultry products worth over N32.4million.
Addressing news men at the site where the items were burnt, in the presence of NAFDAC and other government agencies, the Customs Area Controller, CAC, of the Command, Comptroller BN Binga said his Command will leave no stone unturned in anti-smuggling drive to encourage growth of local industries.
Also, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, commended the CAC for his pragmatic leadership style, which paved the way for the feats recorded by the Command, while calling on the media to partner with Customs in the fight against smuggling.
