When VIS Launched New Offices

The Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) recently launched operational Headquarters on in Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

During the colourful event, various agencies like Police, LASTMA, Federal Road Safety, Federal Fire Service and Neighbourhood Watch were represented.

The Governor of Lagos State Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu said in his keynote address that

“It gladdens my heart today to inaugurate the new VIS Operational headquarters of the Lagos State Vehicle inspections service.

Speaking with Olajide Oduyoye, General Manager, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) he said “we are here to celebrate/launch the VIS Operational headquarters, vehicle Inspection services. I rejoice with them that they now have their headquarters, before they were stocked in Alausa for so long and the type of the job they do is so important to the citizens of Lagos State.”

He added that “With the new headquarters, they are going to be doing more work and they are going to be more focused. The Headquarters is to ensure that work can be done properly.
