The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed that the story going viral online about a hotel in the state where human meat is sold is absolutely false and unfounded.
In an official statement, SP Haruna Mohammed, (PPRO) Anambra State Police Command said “the attention of the Anambra State Police Command has been drawn to online reports being circulated on social media that there is a hotel where human meat is being sold.
“The report is totally false and unfounded, probably orchestrated by mischief makers who are trying to achieve their selfish interests.
“The Command urges the public to disregard such rumour. Persons circulating this fake news are warned to desist forthwith as any one apprehended will face severe legal consequences, please.”
