Opeyemi Famakin Warns Against Fake Body Mists
Food critic Opeyemi Famakin has warned Nigerians against buying “high end” body mists from local vendors. He raised concerns over authenticity and health safety of products sold at unusually low prices.
In a post, Famakin urged consumers to be careful, adding that people should question it when expensive celebrity brands that cost up to N40,000 are sold for just N4,000 in Nigeria.
He also warned that some vendors may try to deceive buyers.

“Some vendors could attempt to convince customers that their products are original or increase their prices to make them appear authentic,” he said.
Famakin advised Nigerians to avoid purchasing the body mists from random vendors and recommended buying only from trusted, verified stores.
He added that while he shares product recommendations, he will also keep warning followers about items that may pose health risks.
“I would also continue warning my followers about products I believe could pose potential health risks like cancer,” he added.
