Why I Still Live In Rented Apartment – Ola of Lagos
Prominent Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur, Waris Olayinka Akinwande, popularly known as Ola of Lagos, has explained why he still lives in a rented apartment despite owning several houses.
Speaking in a recent episode of the KK Show, the luxury influencer revealed that he has never slept in any house he bought with his own money.
According to him, living in his own house would make him too relaxed and less driven to work hard.
“I have never slept in any house I bought with my own money. If you do, you will become too relaxed. Despite being in a beautiful estate, I still live in rented apartments and pay rent,” he noted.
Ola disclosed that he pays N50 million annually in rent, adding that the financial pressure keeps him motivated to work harder.
