Saida Boj Reacts To Backlash Over Timaya Carrying Real Warri Pikin On Stage
Nigerian online personality Saida Boj has spoken out amid the criticism faced by comedian Real Warri Pikin, following a trending clip that captured singer Timaya lifting her on stage.
The comedian had previously apologized for the incident, clarifying that she was unaware Timaya would carry her when she stepped on stage to enjoy his performance.
Joining the conversation, Saida Boj wondered why the moment had provoked such anger, stressing that mutual understanding is important in marriages.

She argued that society often expects wives to understand their husbands, but not the other way around, asking if anyone has even confirmed whether Real Warri Pikin’s husband was bothered by the act.
“Make I burst una head. E even possible say before she left for that event, she told her husband, ‘Baby, I want jump for Timaya body o,’ them don even laugh about the matter. The man fit don talk say, ‘Okay, but make he no too press you,'” she said.
Saida Boj went on to suggest that Real Warri Pikin may have already told her husband about her plan before going for the show, and that they might have laughed over it, with him jokingly warning Timaya not to hold her too tight.
She also faulted those making a big deal out of the video, saying they were behaving as though the comedian was married to them, and questioned why they were so worked up when her own husband seemed to understand.
“But una carry the matter for head like say she be una wife. Why are you guys crashing out because her husband understood what she did with Timaya?”
She therefore highlighted double standards, noting that when married men engage in similar conduct, they hardly face the same level of backlash.
