Popular Lagos Prophet and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr. Chris Okafor, popularly known as The Generational Prophet of God, has joined eminent Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to celebrate Nigeria as the nation marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.
In his Independence message, the renowned Man of God congratulated Nigerians for their resilience, patience, and faith in the country despite daunting socio-economic and security challenges.
Dr Chris Okafor charged Nigerians to remain united and to continue to pray fervently for the survival of the nation’s nascent democracy, stressing that the future of Nigeria depends largely on the prayers and unity of its citizens.

The Generational Prophet also urged Nigerians to support the government in its efforts to restructure the country for greater efficiency, so that the dividends of democracy can be felt at all levels, from the grassroots to the national stage.
According to the Generational Prophet, what Nigeria needs now, more than ever, is unity to overcome the challenges of insecurity, economic hardship, and division, and to put the nation back in its frontline role as a leading modern country in Africa.
“For deliverance to happen, there must be prayer. Nigeria will be delivered when Nigerians genuinely pray. We must not relent in praying for this nation,”_ Dr. Okafor declared.
The Man of God noted that prayer remains the most powerful weapon for national transformation, adding that no nation can rise above its spiritual altar. He therefore called on churches, mosques, and all people of faith to intensify intercession for Nigeria.
The Senior Pastor Grace Nation Global Dr Chris Okafor used the occasion to offer special prayers for all Nigerian leaders, from the Presidency to the state governors, legislators, and traditional rulers, asking God to grant them divine wisdom, good health, and the fear of God in steering the affairs of the nation as the country continues to transcend to greater heights.
The man of God further encouraged the youth, whom he described as the engine room of national development, to shun violence, crime, and all forms of social vices, and instead channel their energies toward productive ventures that will build a greater Nigeria.
Despite the present difficulties, The Generational Prophet expressed strong optimism about Nigeria’s future, declaring that the nation remains richly blessed by God with human and natural resources capable of making it great again.
The popular Lagos clergyman concluded by prophesying a new dawn for the country, declaring that Nigeria at 66 will usher in a season of peace, economic recovery, and divine restoration.
“Nigeria shall rise again. Our unity is our strength, our prayer is our weapon,”the Generational Prophet of God Dr Chris Okafor added.
