Odumodublvck Says Real Men Die For Partners
Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has sparked reactions with his controversial claim that men unwilling to make ultimate sacrifices for their partners are “fools.”
Speaking on a recent episode of the In Motion Podcast, the “Wotowoto Seasoning” crooner said his position as a Christian compels him to lay down his life for his partner, as the Bible instructs men to love their wives as Christ loves the Church.
“Any man who can’t die for his woman is foolish. I am a Christian, and Jesus Christ said we should love our wife like Christ loves the Church. And what did Christ do for the Church? He died for the Church,” he said.
“I am probably going to die before my wife, in Jesus’ name, because my wife is younger than me. Why should she die before me? It doesn’t make any sense. I should die before my wife. And when I die, it is my wife who will take and distribute my wealth to my children so that there will be no issue. It is my wife that will continue my legacy,” the rapper added.
Odumodublvck also addressed being labelled a misogynist, describing it as unfair and a misconception despite his support for women.
“The biggest misconception about me is that I am a misogynist. It bothers me a lot because it is such an unfair thing to say. I am willing to die for my girlfriend; does that seem like what a misogynist would do?” he asked.
