IGP Abubakar Begins Campaign Against Cultism with Comedy Show

The Police Campaign Against Cultism and other Vices (POCACOV), an initiative of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu has commenced its sensitization programme.

POCACOV was created with a sole aim of saving our youth from the claws of cultism and other vices through its reorientation programme and activities, making our environment peaceful as well as deepening police public relations/partnership.

POCACOV has also appointed Ozoakpata Francis, better known as Mc Franchese as its ambassador. The Enugu-based entertainer and comedian is expected to continually inform and educate members of the public on the dangers inherent in cultism and other vices. According to the national coordinator of POCACOV, SP Ebere Amaraizu, an event tagged ‘Franchez D Funny Man’ comes up on 27 October, 2019 at the Base Landmark Event Centre, located at Independence Layout, Enugu.
