Davido Announces Three-Night Residency At National Theatre
Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star, Davido, has announced a three-night residency at the remodelled National Theatre in Lagos.
The ‘Assurance’ crooner made the announcement in a post on X handle (formally twitter), today, revealing that he will headline ‘Oriadé: The Residency’ on December 17, 18 and 19, 2026.
“LAGOS!!! 🇳🇬 We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be. ORIADÉ: The Residency comes to the National Theatre for 3 nights this December,” he stated.

This will make him the first Afrobeats artiste to hold a residency at the National Theatre.
Davido is expected to perform songs from ‘Oriadé’, his 13-track album released in July, alongside hits from his previous projects.
The album features collaborations with artistes such as Black Sherif, Mayorkun, FOLA, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD and GL Ceejay.
The residency coincides with the 15th anniversary of Davido’s music career.
