International lawyer, Whitney Akinss, has thrown her weight behind Nigeria’s music diva, Tiwa Savage, following her leaked sex tape scandal.
Whitney, who was born and raised in the Republic of Ireland by Nigerian parents said that Nigerians need to stand by Tiwa Savage at this crucial time of her career, as she has been a good ambassador, making the country proud for many years.
She urged those criticizing the music star on social media to shun hypocrisy, as anyone could have been a victim of Tiwa’s predicament.
Whitney argued that “Is Tiwa Savage and adult? Yes. Can she have sex? Of course yes. Does the people criticizing her indulge in sexual activities? I’m pretty sure. So, why the unnecessary criticism? Anybody can be a victim of blackmail, so we shouldn’t use this single incident to discredit all the good things she has been doing.
“This is a lady who has singlehandedly promoted Nigeria all over the world with her craft, despite the abysmal image being portrayed by the country’s political class. I think she honestly deserves the support of every well meaning Nigerian because it is in times of trouble that you know your true friends.”
Whitney reiterated that “Tiwa Savage is one of the female personalities who have over the years convinced me that indeed, good things can come out of Nigeria, and that’s not going to change. She’s a source of inspiration. I have considered coming to Nigeria to contribute my quota in helping to launder the image of the country, and that won’t change as well.”
The international lawyer, who also has a penchant for modeling, added that aside being a talented singer, “I love Tiwa Savage because she is real, strong and consistent —and these are the unique qualities of blacks.”
Born and raised in Dublin, Whitney Akinss graduated from the Technology University, Dublin —Law L.L.B (honours) and has other professional law certificates in her kitty.
