2027 Election Is Poor Versus Paid Poor – I Go Save
Popular Nigerian comedian, Otaghware Onodjayeke, widely known as I Go Save, has shared his take on the country’s politics ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The comedian described the forthcoming polls as a contest between the “poor” and the “paid poor.”
He made the remark in a post on his social media page, where he raised concerns about how financial inducement influences voters’ political decisions.
According to I Go Save, election outcomes are not only shaped by economic hardship but also by individuals who, despite being poor themselves, are willing to defend politicians for monetary gains.
“2027 election is between the poor and the paid poor,” he wrote.
His statement has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians debating its meaning as political activities begin to build up ahead of the next presidential election.
