Nancy Isime Issues Public Warning Over Fake Representatives
Nollywood actress and media personality, Nancy Isime, has issued a stern warning to brands and the general public over individuals parading themselves as her managers or representatives without authorization.
In a public notice shared on her Instagram page yesterday, the actress said she has become aware of persons claiming to negotiate and act on her behalf without her consent.
Isime cautioned brands, agencies, corporate organizations, media houses, event organizers, producers and business partners to be vigilant and not deal with anyone claiming to represent her unless expressly authorized by her.

The actress advised anyone seeking to engage her for professional or commercial purposes to verify the authenticity of such persons before entering into any agreement or making any payments.
In her words: “I, Nancy Isime, hereby issue this notice to the public and all relevant stakeholders concerning my representation and engagements. My attention has been drawn to instances of certain persons purporting to act, negotiate or otherwise represent my interests without authority. This notice is therefore issued to clarify the position and avoid any misunderstanding.
The general public, including brands, agencies, corporate organizations, media organizations, event organizers, Producers, business partners and other stakeholders, are advised that no person or entity is authorized to represent, negotiate, contract, make commitments or otherwise act on my behalf unless expressly authorized by me.”
She further directed that all formal enquiries and verifications should be done through her official email and her legal representatives.
“For matters requiring formal legal or commercial coordination concerning me stakeholders are advised to seek confirmation via info@nancyisime.com and/or through my legal counsel, PUNUKA Attorneys & Solicitors.
I reserve all rights and remedies available to me in respect of any unauthorized representation, dealing, or transaction undertaken in my name or purportedly on my behalf,” she added.
Isime also warned that anyone caught impersonating her or carrying out transactions in her name without permission will face legal consequences.
