Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Condemns Entitlement Culture, Says Begging Has Become A Norm In Nigeria

Veteran Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has decried the growing entitlement mentality among Nigerians, lamenting that begging has now become a culture in the country.

The screen icon made this known during a recent episode of Activating Success With Love Idoko, where she spoke about hard work and personal responsibility.

Omotola noted that she does not support or encourage begging in any form, except in situations where it is a matter of life and death, stressing that there is no excuse for anyone not to work.

She therefore added that, “A lot of Nigerians take opportunities for granted. And one thing we have to understand is that nobody owes you anything. Nigerians now have a culture of begging.”
