Speed Darlington Cries Out Over Difficulty Finding A Houseboy, Blames Youths’ Quest For Quick Money

Popular Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington, has expressed frustration over his inability to find a young man willing to work as his personal domestic servant, alleging that most young men today are only interested in getting rich quickly.
He lamented what he described as the growing unwillingness among young men to take up service jobs, noting that auto-parts dealers are also reportedly struggling to get apprentices who are ready to stay and learn in their shops.
The controversial artiste, however, explained that he was not searching for a shop assistant, but a live-in domestic worker who would stay in his compound and attend to him.
“Nna ehh, I don pass this level. I can’t find any boy wey wan serve me. I don’t know why it’s so hard to find somebody. My whole side is full of prideful boys who are looking for how to pack plenty money. Overnight riches. I’ve been dropping music for years before you knew me. Mine was not overnight riches,” he said.
He added that the prospective worker would receive a monthly salary of ₦100,000 and one meal per day, stressing that the job would not be stressful since he already owns a washing machine.
“I’m not looking for someone who will stay in a shop. I’m looking for someone who will stay in my compound and be serving me,” Speed Darlington added.
