Army Conducts Environmental Sanitation at Onigbongbo Community

The Commander 9 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brig Gen Musa Awwal Etsu-Ndagi has flagged off the Environmental Sanitation Exercise at Ajegunle and Akerele general area of Onigbongbo Local Government, Lagos State.

With its Crocodile Smile exercise, the Army has impacted on communities with programs such as medical outreach and educational support.

According to Brig Gen Musa Awwal Etsu-Ndagi, the sanitation exercise is also part of the Civil Military Society initiatives. “The surroundings are dirty, that is why we are assisting them to do it so that we can kind of bring them closer to us.”

The Brigade recently donated over one thousand branded exercise books to pupils of St Agness Primary School, Maryland, Lagos.
