“Federal government, I just got robbed. All these beggars, they were in my window talking to me. I did not refuse the guy and he just ripped off something from my car and ran away,” he said.
The reality TV star said he tried to chase the suspect but could not catch up with him due to his speed.
The incident left Cross questioning the rising number of street beggars in Lagos and expressing worry over security in the area.
He therefore called on the government to take action to curb the activities of beggars on Lagos streets.
“Nigeria is not safe. Federal government, what kind of mistake are you guys doing allowing these guys on the street? This Lagos, I don’t understand why you guys are allowing these people to be on the street. This is unfair,” he added.
