Beautiful Nubia Says Children Should Be Top Priority
Veteran Nigerian singer and songwriter Beautiful Nubia has said that if he ever ran for public office, his number one focus would be improving the lives of Nigerian and African children.
The folk musician shared the view on his social media page, emphasizing that the continent’s future depends on raising children who are healthy, strong, and ready to lead meaningful change.
The statement added that, “If I stood for public office, the main issue for me would be improving the lot of the Nigerian (African) child. Making them strong, healthy, progressive, masters of this environment and agents of social transformation.”

He also faulted what he called society’s misplaced priorities, pointing out that, “Nothing else is more important at this time. Nothing else has ever been more important. But we are lost and confused people, aren’t we?”
Beautiful Nubia therefore argued that nothing else should come before the welfare and development of children, while also describing it as the nation’s most urgent concern.
