Breaking: Rivers election collation suspended, as Returning Officer resigns

The Returning Officer of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Rivers State, Professor Charles has suspended collation of results in the state.

The Professor cited threats to life behind his decision step down as the Returning Officer and suspend the collation process.

Despite pleas by the Police Commissioner, journalists and party agents, the Professor insists that his decision stands.
