Burna Boy Hits 4 Billion YouTube Views, Sets New Record For African Artists
Prominent Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy has crossed 4 billion total views on YouTube, making him the first Nigerian and Sub-Saharan African artist to reach the mark.
The milestone was recorded across his official YouTube channel, where his videos continue to pull massive global audiences.
It was gathered that this is not Burna Boy’s first major feat on the platform.

Back in 2021, the Grammy winner became the first Nigerian artist to surpass 1 billion total views on YouTube.
His catalog remains a major driver of the numbers. Hits like “On The Low,” “Ye,” “Last Last,” and “For My Hand” have each racked up millions of views and continue to trend worldwide.
The new record further makes Burna Boy’s position as one of Africa’s biggest global music exports.
