Cubana Chief Priest Addresses Burna Boy Feud

Nigerian entrepreneur and socialite Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has spoken about his fallout with singer Burna Boy. 

‎This came during an interview on The Beat 99.9 FM today, alleging that the attack stemmed from his close relationship with Davido.

‎Cubana Chief Priest said his success came after years of apprenticeship and hard work, noting that the fame and financial growth often attract envy and criticism from others.

‎“Success comes with a lot of hate. I started my journey from apprenticeship and service and I learnt so much about growth and perseverance,” he stated.

‎Speaking further, he explained that the dispute began when Burna Boy publicly targeted him on social media.

‎“I was on my own and Burna Boy came for me, went on his big platform and started tweeting things that are not genuine,” he said.

‎According to him, the tweets were aimed at discrediting his wealth and reputation.

‎“The attack was straight to my wealth. So he wanted to make people look at my wealth, disrespect my wealth, I felt bad,” he added.

‎Cubana Chief Priest further linked the incident to his friendship with Davido, claiming that the attack happened “because of my relationship with Davido.”

‎He also praised Davido for his consistent support over the years.

‎“David is always there for me. He opened all my nightclubs, restaurants, everything. He always shows up to support me,” he stated.
