British-Nigerian rapper Dave and Nigerian singer Tems have made Spotify’s 2026 “Songs of Summer” predictions with their joint track “Raindance featuring Tems.

Spotify’s global editorial team picked the song as a potential summer standout based on worldwide streaming trends, covering pop, rap, Afrobeats, and electronic music.

“Raindance” was released in October 2025 as the fifth track on Dave’s third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp.

The record hit No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, giving Tems her first chart-topping entry in the United Kingdom and crossed 500 million global streams.

Spotify there noted that the 2026 edition introduces in-app voting, which enable users predict the season’s biggest hit.
