Davido Claims He Knew Maleek Berry First
Afrobeats star Davido has said he met British-Nigerian producer Maleek Berry before Wizkid did.
The singer made the claim during an interview on the +44 Podcast, with a clip from the conversation went viral yesterday.
Speaking in the video, Davido said London was the first place he visited after leaving home, where he connected with Maleek.

“The first place I came to when I ran away from home is London. I was with Maleek Berry. Ask him, I’m the first person to know Maleek Berry,” he claimed.
It was gathered that Maleek Berry is a close associate and longtime friend of Wizkid.
Meanwhile the comment comes amid the long-running rivalry between Wizkid and Davido, with their fan bases, 30 Billion Gang and Wizkid FC, often reignite the decade-long debate online whenever either artist makes headlines.
