Gospel Artiste Okiki Drops New Album ‘Iro Iyin’, Announces Global Tour

Gospel sensation Idowu Mobolaji Adeyemi, popularly known as Okiki, has released his much-anticipated album Iro Iyin (Echoes of Praise).

The project was officially launched on Sunday, June 14, at the EkoFM Multipurpose Hall in Ikeja, Lagos.

The event, hosted by veteran broadcaster Afolabi Jolaoluwa Jabulani, ended with the unveiling of a United State promotion tour package and a cash gift to support the band’s international expansion.

Speaking at the launch, Okiki said the album marks a major step for Nigerian gospel music on the global stage.

“The road is clear for our global tour. We are taking gospel music to the next level worldwide,” he said.

The lead act of Okiki Ade Band added that the project goes beyond entertainment.

“This project is not just about music; it’s about lifting the name of God and showing that gospel can compete globally,” he said.

Babskay Record, the album’s official promoter, expressed strong confidence in Okiki’s potential to make history in Nigeria’s juju-gospel music scene.

The launch attracted thousands of music lovers, industry stakeholders, clergy, and fans who packed the venue.

With the new album out and a global tour confirmed, Okiki Ade Band now joins the growing list of Nigerian gospel acts taking the genre beyond Africa’s borders.
