Grace Nation @16: Dr Chris Okafor Empowers Church Members …recounts experience with kidnappers

As part of activities that marked the 16th year anniversary of Grace Nation International, a.k.a. Liberation City Worldwide, the Senior Pastor, Dr. Chris Okafor, has empowered at least 48 members of the church.

Dr Okafor, who blessed 48 members of his church with N100,000 each explained that “for people to sustain their deliverance without compromise, they needed to be assisted on what to depend on and sustain their life.” The beneficiaries were selected across all tribes.

He added that “Christianity is beyond prayers and deliverance; it also entails how to sustain those delivered, so they can carry on in life with the deliverance done on them without any compromise. We are celebrating 16 years of existence, 16 years of winning soul into the kingdom of God, 16 years of depopulating the kingdom of darkness and taking the good news of Jesus Christ to all the nook and cranny of the world.”

While reacting to the gesture, one of the beneficiaries said she was recently given a quit notice by her landlord, but with the cash gift from Dr Chris Okafor, God has brought hope to her home.

Meanwhile, recounting his experience in the hand of kidnappers eight years ago, Dr Okafor emotionally said, “if not for God, the devil never wanted the church to get to where it is today. If not for God, the devil wanted to cut the mandate shot, but the devil was put to shame and today the church is waxing stronger and the kingdom of darkness getting depopulated. The enemy will continue to try but they will always fail.”

He explained that in the midst of sporadic gun shooting, God protected him and all the people in the car, except his police escort who was shot dead when he jumped down from the vehicle in an attempt to secure his master.

The 16 years anniversary witnessed prophetic declaration, miracles, deliverance and prophetic words of God by the great servant of God, Dr Chris Okafor. There were also other side attractions as famous gospel act, Gozie Okeke thrilled the congregation with praise and worship tunes.
