How Long Will Doris Ogala Persist In Self-Deception?

The Federal High Court in Ikoyi has fixed October 28 to deliver judgment in the cyberstalking case between Doris Ogala and the Director of Public Prosecutions, DPP.

It was gathered that, following Doris Ogala’s recent online posts, the court has allegedly dismissed the suit filed by Chris Okafor against her.

According to a source who pleaded anonymity said Doris Ogala appeared unaware of the proceedings and would “likely face the music” once she understands the situation.

Doris Ogala recently announced on her social media platform that the Federal High Court in Ikoyi has dismissed the case against her and the DPP.

She also stated that Justice Aluko’s court postponed the judgment, earlier scheduled for June 9, because of her health condition.

Meanwhile, legal observers argue that the law should respond firmly if court procedures are flouted, especially given her claim that hospitalisation prevents her from attending trial.

Doris Ogala was reportedly seen at a protest against poor governance in Abia State three days ago, raising questions about why the court has not taken stricter steps.

By October 28, stakeholders expect the Federal Government to ensure due process in the cyberstalking charges against Doris Ogala, a decision observers opined that it could set a precedent against online blackmail and cyberbullying of citizens.
