Lagos: Security, Traffic Agencies Sign Multi Agency Collaboration in Traffic Management

In a bid to intensify efforts in reducing traffic congestion in Lagos State, security and traffic agencies in the State have signed a multi-agency collaboration in traffic management agreement.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu recently spearheaded a meeting with various security/traffic agencies in Lagos State. The meeting took place at the Police Command Headquarters, G.R.A, Ikeja.
This is a follow up to the emergency meeting the CP had with Area Commanders, Area Operations Officers, State Traffic Officer and Divisional Traffic Officers on traffic management and control.
In attendance were representatives of the Nigerian Army, Air Force, Navy, DSS, NSCDC, FRSC, LASTMA and LNSC. Areas of collaboration were highlighted. The meeting agreed on multi agency approach and collaboration to holistically manage and control traffic and traffic related crimes in the State. It was equally agreed that personnel of the various agencies be warned against violating traffic laws.
