Mo Bimpe Defends Friendly Chat With Awobona
Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has responded to critics who questioned her interaction with fellow actor Jide Awobona in a video that surfaced online.
The one-minute clip of their conversation drew mixed reactions on social media, with some users reading meaning into it.
Bimpe dismissed the comments, describing it as a normal conversation between friends.

“The fact that so many of you found that interaction strange says more about the relationships you’re used to than it does about mine,” she stated.
The actress said not every marriage is toxic, stressing that some are built on trust, friendship, respect, and confidence, instead of fear, insecurity, or constant monitoring.
She also came to the defense of her husband, noting that her brief chat with Awobona, whom she called a family friend, does not threaten their marriage.
“My husband is a secure man. A brief conversation with a family friend does not threaten our marriage or require anyone’s concern,” Bimpe said.
She added that healthy marriages still exist, and she understands that some people may not relate to that kind of relationship.
